What makes a home green? Core Filled Concrete Block Insulation.

Core Filled Concrete block insulation is a solution for non-insulated concrete or cinder block built homes.

Conventional masonry or cinder block construction is hard to seal against air and moisture infiltration and the insulation value is very low.

One solution for green homes is core filled concrete block insulation, which is a non expanding foam insulation that is injected under pressure into the cavities of cinder or concrete block walls on site, filling all of the cavities, spaces and crevices that would normally allow air to travel through, to form a super insulated and continuous air and moisture barrier.

The foam insulation also provides sound deadening and an additional fire safety factor, as well as providing mold, rot, mildew and insect resistance, while blocking out the infiltration of moisture, pollutants and allergens, thereby providing additional green features.
